Lurker Films, Inc was founded in 2004 by Andrew Migliore to munch popcorn where cultists fear to tread, producing DVDs, Videos, and Audio CDs of the famous, infamous and just plain obscure films and television shows that have been directly or indirectly inspired by literary horror in the weird tales genre, and the works of gothic horror master H.P Lovecraft.
Andrew Migliore started out his career as a software engineer and later as a software engineering manager at several innovative startup software companies. In fact, his need to research the web and HTML in 1995 led him to create a website called Beyond Books that ultimately led to the creation of the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and the book Lurker in the Lobby: A Guide to the Cinema of H.P. Lovecraft (with John Strysik). He has been involved in the Lovecraft and literary horror community ever since.
Sarah L. Gerhardt has been wearing a lot of hats lately from vendor and sponsor coordinator for the film festivals run by Lurker Films, to office manager, and even as a 2nd Assistant Director for an upcoming feature film shot here in Portland Oregon. Regardless of which hat she wears she is doing a great job at the command center. Little does she know, we have prepared a whole rack filled with more hats for her to wear (Cue ominous music).
Edward Martin III, composed entirely of atoms and driven by caffeine, helps Lurker Films, producing written promotional material and webwork. In his off-hours, he writes scripts and directs films for Guerrilla Productions, which he founded in 1997, and spearheads the annual "Let's Make a Movie!" workshop at Norwescon in Seattle. He is also the office scapegoat -- most everything that happens around the office is his fault.
Lee Moyer is an artist inspired by the 20th century's great illustrators and the glories of Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Arts & Crafts, propaganda art and the Pre-Raphaelites. He excels in art direction, design, collaboration, and illustration—whether classical, vintage, modern, or post-modern. Lee at Lurker Films does our DVD packaging and illustrations and a whole lot more. Check out his work at http://www.leemoyer.com
Warren Banks may be best remembered for his work as lead guitar player and founder of the Lovecraftian band The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets. But believe it or not Warren is so much more... he knows how to program. Here at Lurker Films, Warren is our goto guy for php and dhtml trickery. Warren also helps out when we are on the road at conventions. Recently he manned our booth at Fangoria Weekend of Horrors.
